82, of Cranston passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at RI Hospital in Providence.  She was the beloved wife of the late Gilbert G. Bedetta, Sr.  Born in Cranston, Angela was the daughter of the late Flory and Angelina (Casacalenda) Soscia.  Mrs. Bedetta was a secretary for the Cranston School Systems for 34 years, before retiring.

She is survived by her children Gilbert G. Bedetta, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Cranston, and Steven A. Bedetta and his wife Debra of Warwick.  Angela was the loving mother of the late Karen Anne Cooper and sister of Anthony Soscia of Cranston.  Mrs. Bedetta was the cherished grandmother of Hollie, Ryan, Emily, Brooke, Christina and Sarah.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church.  Visiting hours and burial are private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Mary’s Church Memorial Fund, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston, RI 02920.
