77, of Cranston, passed away suddenly, surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. Anna was the beloved wife of the late David T. Schoonmaker. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Anthony L.G. Vessella, Sr. and Anna (Crudale) Vessella. Her life was devoted to her children.

Anna is survived by her loving children, Walter A. Paliotta, Rachel A. Wilson and her husband Jeffrey, and Kimberly A. Paliotta, all of North Scituate. She was the sister of Anthony L. Vessella of West Warwick, and the late Joseph A. Vessella, and Thomas R. Vessella. She leaves behind her pack of Great Dane grandchildren that brought her so much joy and love

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted. Kindly omit flowers.
