I'm so sorry to learn of Mr. Karibian's passing. He was such a nice man. I was his Realtor who helped him purchase several properties in Florida. I just received some returned mail and searched online and found the obituary. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I had the honor of sharing a sailing with Aram from New York to Rhode Island, his first and my first such adventure on a sailboat. I'd worked as a mover for Aram and watched him learn about sailing from reading books and then his deciding to buy a used sailboat to try it out. He wisely chose to bring along a guy with experience sailing and we did run into a serious storm that was scary. We were able to doc at a yacht club and wait till the storm subsided before continuing. Alas we made it to our destination. Aram's kindly ways as captain were unforgettable.
