86, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Coventry Health Center. He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (Saccoccio) Parrillo. Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mary (Crudale) Parrillo.

Arthur was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a mechanical engineer, employed at Brown & Sharpe for 40 years, retiring from Droitcour. Arthur was a steel guitarist and became a member of the County Music Association and its Hall of Fame. He was an avid horseshoe player for over fifty years and also enjoyed playing golf in his earlier years. Arthur often participated in the Cranston Senior Games, winning various medals. He was also an avid reader throughout his entire life.

Arthur is survived by his loving children Arthur R. Parrillo, Jr. and his wife Bernadette of Coventry, and Steven A. Parrillo and his wife Diane of Johnston; cherished grandson Christopher S. Parrillo and his wife Krystal of Johnston; great-grandchildren Domenic and Anthony Parrillo.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 9:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Entombment with military honors will follow in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Sunday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm.
