Carole M. (Lombardo) Rose

73, of North Providence, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late George E. Rose. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Irene (Menna) Lombardo. Carole was a medical secretary for Optx Inc. in the office of Dr. Giulio G. Diamante for over fifty years. She was known by many as “ Mema”.

Carole is survived by her loving son, George R. Rose and his wife Jennifer of Greenville. She was the cherished grandmother of Tyler and Zachary Rose. She is also survived by her brother Henry Lombardo of Johnston, her brother-in-law Michael Alviano of Cranston and her sister-in-law Nancy Rose of East Providence. Carole was the sister of the late Mary Jane Alviano and sister-in-law of the late Lucille Lombardo.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Mary Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth Street, North Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
