81, of Elon, NC, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Providence, RI to the late George Ferri, Sr. and Rose (Scuncio) Ferri and is survived by Ralph Joseph Perfetto, husband of almost 60 years.  She lived most of her life in Johnston, RI, where she enjoyed her family and friends.

Carolyn formerly worked at Brendle’s and Louise’s Hallmark Store in Burlington, NC.  She will also be remembered for her many wonderful years working at the Village Pharmacy in Greenville, RI.  While in NC, she attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.  

Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed. She loved gardening and tending to her beautiful rose bushes. She loved Elvis Presley and was a passionate fan of the Boston Red Sox. Most of all, she loved her six wonderful grandchildren.  

Survivors other than her husband, Ralph, include her daughters, Eleanor Perfetto and husband, John McLeod, and Patricia Perfetto; sons, Ralph Perfetto, Jr. and wife, Trish, Steven Perfetto and wife, Dawn, Carl Perfetto and wife, Stacey Gorzek Perfetto; grandchildren, Katherine Perfetto Smith and husband, Trevor, and Jason, Steven, Aaron, Brayden and Syler Perfetto; sister, Patricia Susi and husband, Bob; brothers, Domenic Ferri and wife, Elaine, George Ferri and wife, Christine; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Marie D’Acchioli.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston. Entombment will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005, or any charitable organization that will benefit children.
