Jeannie, Lynda & Couto family, we were so saddened to hear of the loss of David. David was a great and caring man and an even better friend. I hope you are enheartened to know that even in his darkest hours his family was always his most precious gift of life. He is now in the hands of the Lord. God Speed Dave.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Couto Family. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family during this difficult time. Dave and I umpired many games together and it was a pleasure to be on the same field with Dave. He will be a great loss to our East Providence Association. May you rest in peace.

My sympathy to the Coutu family
I knew Dave for 30 years or so from softball. Our paths would cross fairly regularly and we would catch up and reminisce about the 'old'days'. He always met me with a warm smile and a hearty handshake. He will surely be missed. May you find a green field in heaven, old friend, where everybody agrees with all your calls all the time.
