84, of Cranston passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at RI Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Edward B. Lawrence. Born in Seekonk, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Amaral) Miranda. Dorothy spent most of her days gardening with her dog Daisy. She was a lover of all animals, but most of all loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving children, Jo-Ann L. DiBiasio and her husband Steven of Cranston, Kathleen Idskou and her husband Robert of Cranston and the late Edward B. Lawrence, Jr; cherished grandchildren, Erika and Kimberly Lawrence, Justin, Jeremy, David, Alysha, Christine and Amber DiBiasio, Brandon, Kaitlyn and Jay Idskou, and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 9:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Garden Hills Dr., Cranston. Burial will take place in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS will be held on Thursday from 5 – 8 pm.
