90, of Cranston, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late James E. Grimshaw, Sr..  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph T. and Ella (Gilfillan) Martin. She was the sister of the late, Sister Mary Josina Martin, RSM, James F. Martin, Joseph T. Martin, and Thomas P. Martin.

Helen is survived by her loving children, Kathleen A. Bouchard of Yulee, FL, Mary E. Grossi of Mattapoisett, MA, Helen P. Andrade and Barbara J. Paquin, both of Warwick, James E. Grimshaw, Jr. of Attleboro, MA, John J. Grimshaw and Paul F. Grimshaw, both of Cranston, Joseph D. Grimshaw of Warwick, and Thomas P. Grimshaw of Attleboro, MA. Helen was the cherished grandmother of nineteen and the great-grandmother of twenty. She was the grandmother of the late Patricia M. Grossi, the great-grandmother of the late James J. Demers, Jr. and was the mother-in-law of the late Ernest E. Paquin.

Funeral is from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul Church, 1 St. Paul Place, Cranston. Committal prayers will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Thursday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Church, 1 St. Paul Place, Cranston, RI 02905-3587.
