of Providence, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017.  He was the beloved husband of Maria L. Gonzalez for 59 years.  Born in Dominican Republic, Jesus was a son of the late Santiago and Reina Suriel.  Mr. Nunez worked in the manufacturing industry for many years, before retiring.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children Reina Caba, Berkis, Jesus, Santiago, Victor, Joselyn, Ubaldo, Julio, Joel and Manuel Nunez.  Jesus was the cherished grandfather of 27 and great grandfather of 10.  He also leaves behind 6 brothers and sisters.

His funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Assumption Church, Potters Avenue, Providence at 10:00 a.m.  VISITING HOURS: Wednesday from 4:00-9:00 p.m.  Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
