On behalf of my late father, Milton Noble, we send our condolences to Mr. Duffy's family. My father and Jack worked together for many, many years at Brown. My Dad was the Registrar. Whether it was playing pool at lunch, teasing their other co-workers and bosses, or leaning on each other for advice and perspective--it was a lengthy and supportive friendship. I am sorry for your loss. My Dad passed in 2012, my Mom in 2014, and it still leaves a hole. I know my Dad thought very highly of Jack and valued their friendship.

Jack and I were colleagues at Brown University for many years and played lots of golf before and after his retirement. I visited him a few months ago after he had moved to another room at Bright View. He was a great friend and I will miss him.
