of Narragansett, passed away on Tuesday, August, 15, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. Born in Providence, he was a son of Alice (Cotroneo) Saccoccio and the late Joseph R. Cotroneo, Sr.  Mr. Cotroneo was the owner and operator of JC Building and Improvements.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his two sons Joseph R. Cotroneo, III and Alec Cotroneo, both of Narragansett.  Joseph was the dear brother of Cathi Reali of FL, and the late Carol Benedetti and Michael Cotroneo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Narragansett on Friday, August 18th, at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.  A receiving line will form for visitors at church beginning before the start of Mass at 9:00 a.m.
