93, of North Providence, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Hopkins Manor, North Providence. Born in Barrington, she was a daughter of the late Sosio and Elizabeth (Pompei) Dellefratte. Mary was a US Army Veteran serving during WW II. She was a presser at Specialty Cleaners in Providence for over thirty years before her retirement. She was a member of the Italian American War Veterans Post #5 East Providence and the American Legion Post # 56 Providence.

She is survived by her loving daughter Carol-Ann DelPico and her husband Stephen of Greenville. Mary was the mother of the late Richard Spatafore and the mother-in-law of Rosemarie Spatafore of Ansonia, CT. She was the cherished grandmother of two Gina (John) D’Ambruoso and Lori (Dino) Rasile of CT, great-grandmother of five (Maria, Johnna, Tara and John D’Ambruoso and Sophia Rasile) and a great great-grandmother. Mary was the sister of Catherine Olivera and the late Rocco and Augustine Dellefratte, Madeline Malluck, and Pamelia D’Ambra. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
 

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in Santa Maria del Campo, Cemetery, Barrington.
