92, formerly of Wakefield Ave., Cranston, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Steere House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Providence.  She was the beloved wife for 59 years of the late Gaspare “Jasper” Fallago.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Venanzio and Santina (Monacelli) Grossi.

She was a former member of Daughters of Isabella.

Melissa was the devoted mother of Robert Fallago and his wife Barbara of Cumberland, Richard Fallago of Cranston and his former wife Jean and Margherita Stargard and her husband William of North Smithfield; loving grandmother of Richard Fallago, Christopher Fallago, Paul Fallago and Claire Stargard; and dear sister of the late Elsie Croce, Connie Valente, Helen Cipriano, Anthony Grossi and Louis Grossi.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday, October 5th at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew’s Church, 305 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence at 11 a.m.  Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are WEDNESDAY MORNING from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
