77, of Providence, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Teresa Vanda (Petteruti) Passaretta. Born in Sorbello DiSessa Aurunca, Italy, he was a son of the late Delfino and Carolina (Ponticelli) Passaretta.

Orlando was employed as a jewelry supervisor for the B. B. Greenberg Co. He was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting, fishing and mushrooming. He also enjoyed making homemade wine and sausage.

He is survived by his loving sons, Robert D. Passaretta of Pascoag, and Dino Passaretta of Warwick; cherished granddaughters, Isabella, Gianna, Adriana and Liliana; his two sisters residing in Italy, Lucia and Anna Maria Passaretta, and two brothers, Carlo and Angelo Passaretta.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 8:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Rd, Warwick. Entombment will follow in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 pm.
