Rose A. (Caparelli) Pingitore

93, of Narragansett, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Dante “Dapper” Pingitore. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Domenic and Nicholina (Brunetti) Caparelli.

Rose worked for the State of RI in the Dept. of Welfare for many years before retiring. Later, she worked as a demonstrator for CA Courtesy Demos and Stop & Shop in Narragansett. She was very active in her parish, St. Veronica’s, serving as a Eucharistic minister and was a member of Our Lady’s Guild.

Rose was the sister of the late Michelina Langella, Anthony Caparelli, Anna Bubar, Molly Verducci and Salvatore Caparelli. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews, as well as her brother-in-law Domenic (Tom) Verducci.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt. 1A), Narragansett, on Wednesday at 10:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Veronica Chapel, Narragansett. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on WEDNESDAY MORNING from 9:00 - 10:00 am.
