Viola J. (Tella) LaChapelle

 of Johnston passed away on Monday March 19, 2018 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence.

She was the beloved wife of the late Rudolph LaChapelle.

Born in Johnston she was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Iannuccilli) Tella. Viola was a member of the RI Deaf Association.

 She was the devoted mother of Marie Accetturo of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, John S. LaChapelle of Johnston and the late Anna Accetturo; loving grandmother of David, Joseph, Brad, Micaela and the late Michael Accetturo; loving great-grandmother of Brianna, Madison, Isabella, Giavanna, Arianna, Michael, Mia and Sophia. She was the dear sister of Daniel Tella of North Providence, Anna Trudeau of Millbury, MA and the late Florine Fuoco, Dorothy Gelfuso and Evelyn Gesualdi.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco’s Church 927 Atwood Ave. Johnston at 10 a.m.

Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery Cranston. Visiting hours are Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
