David T. Pulsifer, Sr.

79, of Cranston, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Carol (DiTraglia) Pulsifer for fifty-seven years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Gerald “Charlie” Pulsifer and Helen (McCormick) Pulsifer. David was the former owner and operator of Ideal Autobody for many years until his retirement. He served in the US Army National Guard. Mr. Pulsifer was the past president of the Autobody Association of RI, a former member of the East Greenwich Yacht Club and was an avid boater.

Besides his wife Carol, David is survived by his two loving children, David T. Pulsifer, Jr., and his wife Karen of Cranston and Charlene Poulios and her husband Michael of Warwick. He was the cherished grandfather of Kayla Pulsifer, David N. Pulsifer, Julie Poulios and Nikolas Poulios. He was the brother of Helen Jodoin of North Kingstown.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, March 17th, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston. Burial with military honors, will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
