Domenic A. Cotoia

86, of Johnston, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017. He was the beloved husband of the late Anna Marie (Mancini) Cotoia for fifty-one years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Vito and Maria (Calitri) Cotoia. Domenic was a wire twister for American Insulated Wire Company until his retirement. Mr. Cotoia was a US army veteran serving during the Korean War.

Domenic is survived by his two loving children, Domenic J. Cotoia and his wife Carol of Attleboro, MA and Donna M. Cairo of Johnston. He was the loving father-in-law to the late Robert V. Cairo. Domenic was the cherished grandfather of Joshua Hernandez and his wife Ruby and Jason Hernandez and his wife Nicole; proud great-grandfather of Darren, Dylan and Darrylan Hernandez. He was the brother of Giovanina “Jennie” DiCicco of Worcester, MA and the late Marie DiMeo. He was also the loving uncle to several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Church. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
