Florence O. (Lambert) Roy

96, of Scituate, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Cra-Mar Meadows Nursing Home in Cranston. Florence was the beloved wife of the late Armand Roy. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Leonide Lambert, Sr., and Antoinette (Myron) Lambert. Mrs. Roy was a bookkeeper for Gulton Industries for many years before her retirement.  Florence was a former choir member in Our Lady of Mercy Church in East Greenwich; she was a former member of the Parent Association at Bishop Hendricken High School from 1960-1964. Mrs. Roy graduated from St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Grade School and graduated from Classical High School.

Florence is survived by her loving son Norman Roy and his wife Doris of Scituate. She was the cherished grandmother of Joseph and his wife Amanda, and Kristen Roy; great-grandmother of Calvin Roy. She was a sister of Leonide Lambert, Jr. and his wife Maribeth of CA, and the late Claire Cotter, Rita St. Pierre, Gerard Lambert, Raymond Lambert and Beatrice Lambert.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, August 10th, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Church, Providence. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
