Agnes M. (Melfi) Castiglioni

97, of Cranston, passed away at her home on Saturday, May 19, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo J. Castiglioni, Jr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Marie (Ponticelli) Melfi. Agnes was a records clerk for the Cranston Police Department for over twenty years before retiring.

Agnes is survived by her two loving children, Steve Castiglioni and his wife Kim of Providence and Sharon Castiglioni of Cranston. She was the cherished grandmother of five and great-grandmother of four. Agnes was the sister of Clara Campagnone, Evelyn Henry, Raymond Melfi, and the late Emma Chiello, Olga DiPetrillo, Mildred Melfi, Mitchell Melfi and Anthony Melfi, Jr.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, May 26th, at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul’s Church, 30 Warwick Avenue, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
