Anahid (Matossian) Poochikian

of Cranston, RI, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2019 at the Cedars Nursing Home in Cranston.  She was the beloved wife of the late Kegham Poochikian.  Born in Aleppo, Syria, she was the daughter of the late Garabed and Hermine (Halabi) Matossian; devoted mother of Dr. Guiragos Poochikian and his wife Sossy of Rockville, MD, Dr. Vicken Poochikian and Dr. Irene Roth of Silver Spring, MD, Maggie Nalbandian and her husband Deacon Ara of Cranston and Dr. Sonia Sarkissian and her husband Varoujan of Toronto, Canada; cherished grandmother of Sevag Poochikian and his wife Natalie, Hagop Sarkissian and his wife Cintia, Kegham Poochikian, Nora Sarkissian and her husband Garo, Roubina Poochikian, Hourig Poochikian and Dr. Ari Nalbandian; and loving great-grandmother of seven.  She is also survived by the Matossian, Poochikian, Karageuzian and Tufenkjian families.

Visiting hours are Saturday morning, September 21st from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, with a Funeral Service at 10 a.m., followed by burial at North Burial Ground, Providence.
