Angelo Gazzerro

85, of Johnston, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday July 1, 2019. He was the loving husband of Vale Donna (Buhl) Gazzerro for 48 years.  Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Paul Gazzerro, Sr., and Concetta (Fioiellino) Gazzerro. Angelo was a US postal mail carrier for 20 years until his retirement. He was also a 23 year army veteran serving in the Korean War and two tours during Vietnam.

Angelo is survived by his two loving daughters, Deanna Lynn Isabel of West Caldwell, NJ, and Tracy Ann McKenzie and her wife April of Inverness, FL. He was the brother of Margaret DeRaimo of Cranston and the late Paul Gazzerro, Jr., and Madeline DiRaimo.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 5th, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. His Funeral Home Service will take place on Saturday, July 6th, at 11:00 a.m. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, KS 66675.
