of North Providence, passed away Wednesday November 28th, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital surrounded by her loving family and dearest friends. Ann Marie was the beloved wife of Michael Scampoli for 36 years. Ann Marie’s greatest joy in life was being a wife, mother and grandmother. When she wasn’t chasing around her little grandsons, Ann Marie enjoyed cooking and especially loved her pets. Those closest to Ann Marie fondly remember her sense of humor and quick wit. She truly had a heart of gold and a giving spirit. Ann Marie courageously battled breast cancer twice in her life, and her children would describe her as the bravest person they have ever known.
