Ann Marie Spizzirri Obituary

74, of Cranston, passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 2, 2018. She was the beloved wife of forty-eight years of Michael E. Spizzirri, M.D. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Filomena (Matrullo) Addessi. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she could often be found at ice rinks and baseball fields throughout RI and MA.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving daughters, Jennifer Spizzirri Nakata and her husband Gordon Kenji Nakata, M.D., of West Barnstable, MA, Julie-ann Spizzirri of West Warwick, Jessica Spizzirri Asselin and her husband Eric of West Warwick. She was the cherished grandmother of Matthew and Benjamin Nakata, and Amelia and Olivia Asselin. She was the sister of Elaine Gambardella of Warwick, and the sister-in-law of Carol Spizzirri of North Providence and MaryAnn Spizzirri of Cranston. She was also the loving aunt to Christopher Gambardella of North Providence and Matthew Gambardella of Redmond, WA.
