Anna G. (Sinapi) Mahoney

95, formerly of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the West View Nursing Home in West Warwick.  She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond W. Mahoney.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Frances (Lorello) Sinapi.

Anna worked as a cosmetologist for many years before her retirement.  She was a member of the St. Mary’s Church Ladies Auxillary, the Cranston Senior Center, the senior golf league at Midville Country Club, and a member of Immaculate Conception Church for over 50 years.

Anna was the loving mother of Will T. Mahoney of Cranston, Louise A. Chauvette of Chepachet, Thomas C. Mahoney of North Providence; 7 cherished grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; dear sisters Edith Hall of Greenville and Elena Carbone formerly of Cranston.  She was the sister of the late Madeline DiPiro, Gloria Izzi, Olando Sinapi and Frank P. Sinapi. 

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston.  Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Friday morning from 8 – 9 a.m.
