Barbara-Ann Gervais Obituary

of Johnston, passed away on Saturday March 10,2018 at Miriam Hospital Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Gervais.

Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Jennie (Durante) Norato.

She was the practice manager at Providence Pediatrics for several years before retiring. Barbara loved sharing the beauty of Italy with friends and family. She enjoyed her retirement, visiting with friends at local cafes, exploring local theaters and restaurants, and spending time with her family. Her greatest joy came from the time she spent with her grandchildren. She was a warm and loving grandmother, cuddling and reading for hours on end and spoiling them as only a Nonna can.

She was the devoted mother of David Gervais and his wife Sammi of Carlisle, MA; loving grandmother of Emmi and James; and dear sister of Anthony Norato and his wife Mary Lou and Thomas Norato and his wife Ann both of North Providence; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
