**FUNERAL HAS BEEN CHANGED DUE TO WEATHER, SEE BELOW!!**

of West Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved husband of the late Nora (Faccio) Marino.  Born in Johnston, he was the son of the late Luigi and Maria (Caiazza) Marino.

Benny was a WW-II U.S. Navy veteran serving as a Chief Petty Officer aboard LST-452 in the Pacific Theater.  After his service to his country, he continued to work for the U.S. Navy as a heavy equipment operator at the Naval Air Station, Quonset Point, RI, retiring in 1974.  Benny continued to work as a crane operator at Electric Boat, until he retired in 1986.

He was the devoted father of Norine Tavarozzi (Michael) of Warwick, Mark Marino (Patricia) of Seekonk MA, Gary Marino (Kathleen) of Warwick, and Linda Dansereau (Charlie) of North Smithfield; loving grandfather of Benjamin, Lauren, Angela, Brian, Sarah, Christopher, and Emily; and dear brother of the late Ralph, Pasquale, Anthony, Thomas and Assunta “Suzie” Marino, Clara “Millie” Lisi, Caroline Cinieri and Anna Petrucci.

RELATIVES AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND HIS MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14th  AT 10 A.M. IN THE CHURCH OF THE SACRED HEART, 820 Providence St., West Warwick, followed by burial with military honors at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are MONDAY, MARCH 12th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
