of Franklin Ave., Cranston, passed away comfortably surrounded by his loving family at RI Hospital on Monday, December 4, 2017. “We truly believe God called him home.” He was the beloved husband for 47 years of Donna S. (Reynolds) Martone.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Louis and Josephine (Mallozzi) Martone.

Donald was a laborer and member of Laborers’ International Union Local 271.

Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Regina A. Maer and her husband Michael of Cranston and Donald R. Martone, Jr. and his wife Tracy of Warwick; loving grandfather of Mia and Ava; and dear brother of Anna Tella of Johnston, Joann Marinaccio of Le Roy, NY and the late Louis and Anthony Martone.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew’s Church, 305 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence at 11 a.m.  Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are THURSDAY MORNING from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
