Emilienne (Michaud) Del Bonis

95 of Johnston passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on May 9, 2018. She was the cherished wife of the late Oliver A. Del Bonis and loving mother to Donna E. DeFusco of Haddam CT, Joseph Del Bonis of Santa Barbara CA and the late David O. Del Bonis of Providence. Born in Providence she was the daughter of James and Lea Michaud and was pre-deceased by her beloved sisters, Rita May of Norridgewock, ME and Lucille Kabbas of Providence. She leaves behind seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren a great-great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews all of whom she loved unconditionally.

Emilienne worked in retail and was a bookkeeper for many local businesses throughout her working life. She enjoyed reading, traveling, socializing with her friends and especially loved spending time by the ocean.

She was a source of love, comfort and guidance to her family throughout her life. Her home was always open to all and was the family gathering place for holidays and celebrations throughout her years. She will be deeply missed and always held close to the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to call her Mom, Gram, Grandma or Auntie Meanne.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church 1804 Atwood Avenue Johnston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
