Irene Munroe Obituary
92, of Providence, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2018 at the Kent Regency Center in Warwick. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William and Eva (Geremia) DeAngelus.
Irene worked as a nurse at the Jane Brown Hospital for many years before her retirement. She was a sweet and caring woman, and she lit up so many people's lives.
Irene was the loving mother of Gary Munroe of Providence and the late Kevin Munroe; cherished grandmother of Gary Munroe, Jr., Kevin Munroe, and Ryan Munroe; dear sister of Virginia Black of New Britain, CT and the late Ann Welch and William DeAngelus, Jr.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS are Tuesday morning from 8 - 9 a.m.
