87, of Cranston, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Kent Regency, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor (Marcello) Drew for 30 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John E. and Mildred (Anderson) Drew, Sr. John was a United States Marine Corps veteran serving during the Korean War. He was then employed as a lineman for AT&T for many years and later worked for Citizens Bank in Providence for 15 years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, John E. Drew III of AZ, Richard W. Drew of AZ, David J. Drew and his wife Suzanne of TX, Robert A. Drew of AZ and step-daughter Lynne Zarcaro and her husband Chris of Cranston; cherished grandchildren, John E. Drew IV, Abigail Drew, Emmaline Drew, Elena Zarcaro, Nathan Zarcaro, Elise Zarcaro and one great-grandchild; dear brother of the late Gloria Keebler. He is also survived by two loving nieces, Mary Jean Roche of Scituate and Carolanne McNichols of East Greenwich.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 10:00 am. Burial with military honors will follow in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS will precede his funeral service from 9:00 - 10:00 am.
