Josephine M. (Voccio) Grande

of Silby St., Warwick, formerly of Broad St., Cranston, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Grande. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Fortunata (Velleco) Voccio.

Josephine was a customer service representative at National Office Supply Company in Providence and later was the school librarian at St. Paul’s School in Cranston before retiring.  She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends.

She was the devoted mother of Joanne G. Choiniere and her husband Michael of Cranston and Donna L. Morris and her husband Kevin of Warwick; loving grandmother of Meredith Morris, Kevin Morris, Jr. and his wife Jessica, Matthew Choiniere and the late Christopher Choiniere; loving great-grandmother of Kevin Morris, III; and dear sister of Anna DeOrsey of Warwick, Frances Brantolino, Anthony Voccio, Antonetta Budano and Dorothea Hawkins, all of Cranston and the late Angelina DeOrsey. Josephine also leaves her dear and closest friend Anne Moran of Warwick.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday, June 14th at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kevin’s Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick at 10 a.m.  Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Wednesday, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
