Lucy K. (Kacherian) Muradian

passed away at the age of 94 on Sunday, May 20, 2018.  She was the loving and caring wife of the late Jariar J. “Jerry” Muradian.  Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Sahag "Sam" and Elizabeth (DerApelian) Kacherian.  She leaves behind her son, Mark Muradian and his wife Carol of South Kingstown and her sister, Violet Sirabian of Yonkers, New York.  Lucy cherished her time with family and friends.  She was always so happy to visit with her niece Karen Mardikian, and her nephews Stephen and Russell Sirabian and their children.

Lucy was an active member of Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church where she was a member of its various committees and organizations for over 50 years.  In addition, Lucy’s interests included singing, reading, sewing, gardening, cooking Armenian dishes and playing scrabble.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 23rd from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.  Relatives and friends are also invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday, May 24th at 11 a.m. in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, followed by burial at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
