Mario Igetti

92, of Cranston, passed away in the night at his home surrounded by his loving family on June 19, 2018. He was the loving husband of Concettina (DeVincenzis) Igetti for sixty nine years. He was born in Sessa Romana, Italy. He was a son of the late Sebastiano and Maria (Biagini) Zonfrilli. Mario was the owner of Mario Igetti and Son and had been in the masonry construction business for over forty years. Mario had served in the Italian Army for two years, after 1947, as a Corporal.

Besides his wife, Concettina, he is survived by his loving children, Maria Moretti and her husband Angelo of Hope, Giancarlo Igetti, I of Cranston and Diana Calise and her husband Christopher, Sr. of Hope. Mario was the cherished grandfather of Mario Moretti, Gina Molina, Annemarie D’Ambra, Giancarlo Igetti II, Christopher Calise Jr., and Michael Calise. He was also the great-grandfather of Mario Paul Moretti, Gabriella Moretti, Dante Molina, Logan D’Ambra and Giovanni Molina. Mario was the father in-law to the late Anna (Colella) Igetti. Mario will always be remembered for his words of wit and wisdom bringing smiles and laughter to those that knew him.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, June 23rd, at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Bartholomew’s Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Entombment will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday morning from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
