Michael H. Kojoian

of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 7, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved husband for 49 years of Vanouhi (Antoyan) Kojoian.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Harry and Nazley (Bedigian) Kojoian.

Michael was a mechanic for the RI Public Transit Authority for many years before retiring. He was an Eagle Scout and a proud Boy Scout volunteer; and was a member of Amalgamated Transit Union 618.

Besides his wife Vanouhi, he was the devoted father of Linda V. Avedikian and her husband Craig of Dover, MA, Harry M. Kojoian and his wife Candace of North Attleboro, MA and John H. Kojoian of Cranston; loving grandfather of Shant Avedikian, Nishan Avedikian, Harry M. Kojoian Jr., Nikolas Kojoian and Alex Kojoian; and dear brother of Kachadour Kojoian of Cranston and the late Dr. Gabriel H. Kojoian.

His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 12th at 11 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, followed by burial at North Burial Ground Providence.  VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
