Michele Pica

 of West Warwick, passed away on Sunday October 14, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Vincenza (Castaldi) Pica. Born in Colli Del Tronto, Ascoli, Italy, he was the son of the late Quinto and Sofia (DiFiore) Pica. Michele resided in Fornelli, Italy for 30 years where he worked in the family carpentry business before moving to the United States in 1970.

He worked for the former Leviton, Manufacturing Company for 30 years until his retirement in 1998.

Besides his wife he was the devoted father of Sofia Macera and her husband Mario of Hope and Luciana Notarianni and her husband John of Scituate; loving grandfather of Mario J, Carla, Mina and Adriana Macera, Gianna and Michael-John Notarianni. He was the brother of the late Ida Pica.

Michele enjoyed family gatherings especially being with his grandchildren. He also loved playing cards with his friends and enjoyed watching his favorite soccer team.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Thursday at 9:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church 820 Providence Street West Warwick at 11 a.m. Entombment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
