Nicholas Baccari Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Nicholas Baccari share his passing on March 2, 2018 after a long battle with addiction.  He was the beloved son of Susan Baccari of Jamestown and Scott Christopher of Charlestown. He is survived by his identical twin brother Alessandro Baccari, his siblings Dimitri, Antonio, Giancarlo and Isabella Varrecchione, Brooke Christopher and step sister Meghan Doak. He was the step-son of Christopher Varrecchione and Elisabeth Christopher; He also leaves behind his loving grandparents Richard and Susanne Baccari of Narragansett and Albert and Anne Christopher of West Kingstown as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Nicholas graduated from North Kingstown High school and attended Dean College. Nicholas worked as a commercial fisherman alongside his dad on  the F/V Brooke Elise out of Point Judith, RI. He was known for his huge heart and great bear hugs. He had the most contagious smile and vibrant energy. His kind-hearted nature was loved by all. Nicholas had a passion for sports, hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He was adored by his grandparents where he spent Sundays enjoying family dinners. Nicholas was notorious for movie one-liners and spoiling the ending. He was a loyal New England sports fan, often making his feelings towards the game known from across the house. He was a compassionate listener and was always there when you needed advice.
Nicholas’ passing will leave a tremendous hole in our hearts. Our sweet Nicholas may you fly with the angels.
His funeral will be held on Friday at 8:45 am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd., (Rte.1A) Narragansett  followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10 am in St. Mark’s Church, Jamestown. Burial will take place in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 5-8pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to:  Nicholas Baccari’s GoForth Foundation for addiction, 10 Weatherly Court , Jamestown, RI 02835.
