Phyllis Tomao Obituary

passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Cortland Place in Smithfield. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Alfonso and Angelina (DiRobbio) Chiaverini.

Phyllis was the devoted mother of Michele A. Ruzzano and her husband Michael of Providence and the late Lynn M. Anatone; cherished grandmother of Jared Ruzzano, Sheri Samos, Robert Anatone and Melissa Anatone; loving great-grandmother of Isabella, Ava, Amaya, Cora, and Kyra; and dear sister of Angie Kloza of North Providence and the late William Chiaverini, Gaetano Chiaverini and Ann Gallo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, January 21st at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave., Providence, followed by burial at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
