ROBERT E. BOYLE

79, of North Port, FL formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at home. He was the beloved husband of fifty years to Judith A (Messier) Boyle. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on November 16, 2018. Born in Fall River, MA he was a son of the late Joseph and Agnes (Hall) Boyle. Robert was a Vice President of Sales for Filati Lastex Elastofibre (FLE USA) for twenty years before his retirement in 2004. Robert served as a general manager before being promoted to the vice presidency and secretary of FLE USA.  His early experience was being part of the management team at the former Uniroyal Rubber Company in Providence. He was a US Army veteran serving in the Korean War. Bob was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He enjoyed theatre and concerts.

Besides his wife he is survived by his loving sons Gary M. Boyle of Coventry and Derek Boyle of West Warwick. He was the brother of the late Dorothy, Agnes, Ruth, James and Thomas.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory,1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Matthew Church, corner of Park and Elmwood Avenues, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. VISITING HOURS Friday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew Church, 15 Frances Avenue, Cranston, RI 02910-2209.
