Raymond Brockway Obituary

66, of Providence, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. Born in Worcester, MA, he was a son of the late Floyd F. and Myrtle (Hudson) Brockway. Ray was employed by Comstock Industries since 1995, He was also employed at NETC Newport as a custodian. He was an avid bowler, participated in Special Olympics, and enjoyed a wide variety of sports.

He is survived by his brothers, William “Bill” Watson and his wife Judy of Rockland, MA, and Wayne Brockway and his wife Lucinda “Cindy” of Kennebunk, ME. He is also survived by four nieces, three nephews, his housemates Ted and Kurt and a host of friends.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 12:00 noon in St. George Maronite Church, 1493 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS Thursday morning 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Access Point RI, 111 Comstock Pkwy, Cranston, RI 02921.
