Please forgive the lateness of my condolences , as I just today found out that Bob had passed .
I was the radiographer and phlebotomist in Greenville who very often took his X-Rays and drew his blood ..... He always stood out in my mind , among hundreds of patients , as such a special human , never to be forgotten .
We would have great conversations , exchange a few jokes and no matter how much pain he was in , he would always , always have a smile .
A calm and quiet man , who left a lasting impression on me as one of the best souls that God blessed us with .
I used to tell him that the only way I could remember the correct spelling of his last name was to think of the Muppet, Elmo . And he thought that was so funny .
Heaven has truly gained back a loving , thoughtful and peaceful soul .
So glad I had the chance to meet him .
You're all in my prayers . May God bless and comfort him in Heaven , and you all here on Earth .
