Vincent A. Fiontella

February 24, 1935 ~ October 2, 2017 (age 82) 82 Years Old


82, of Johnston, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 2, 2017.  He was the beloved husband of Regina (Cooper) Fiontella.  Born in Johnston, he was a son of the late Vincent and Lucy (Ciaramello) Fiontella.

Vincent worked as a Field Service Engineer for Parkinson Manufacturing for over 40 years.  He was an avid New York Yankees fan.  He loved and played softball all his life, belonging to the RI Colts Senior Travel Team and involved with the RI Senior Softball League for over 30 years.  He also was a guitar player and played at many venues.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving daughters, Pamela Fallens and her husband Edward Jr. of Foster, Gina Fiontella of Johnston; cherished grandchildren Edward III, Bryan, Vanessa and Nicole Fallens; dear sister Jennie Grande.  He was the brother of the late Joseph Fiontella, Sr.  He also leaves his grand-kitty Barbie.

His funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston.  Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Friday 5 – 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
