Vincent Santopadre, Jr. Obituary

of Stella St., Providence, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 9, 2018. He was the beloved husband for 61 years of Jane A. (Whitehead) Santopadre. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Vincent and Louise (Spardello) Santopadre.

Vinny was the owner of the former Spanky’s Restaurant in Providence; and was an avid NY Yankee fan.

Besides his wife Jane, he was the devoted father of Vincent Santopadre and his wife Lynn and Norman Santopadre and his wife Ann, all of Cranston and Kathleen Russo and her husband Joseph of Johnston; dear brother of Josephine Almeida of Providence; loving grandfather of five; and loving great-grandfather of eight.

Visiting hours to which relatives and friends are invited will be held on Thursday, April 12th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. His funeral will be private.
