Anthony L. DeQuattro

77, of Narragansett, formerly of Greenville, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.  He fought a long and courageous battle with frontal-temporal lobe degeneration.  He was the beloved and cherished husband of Ann Marie (Lombardi) DeQuattro for 53 years.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Louis and Angela (Testa) DeQuattro.

He was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and Bryant University.  He worked many years in sales and transportation.  He retired from the Accountant Department at the VA Hospital in Providence.  He served as Adjutant and then Commander of North Kingstown Chapter #14 of DAV 2004-2008 and also was a US Army veteran.  He loved his winters in Florida, golf, daily visits to the gym, and walking the sea wall at Narragansett beach and many family get-togethers.  He coached girls softball in Smithfield for many years.

Besides his wife, he is also survived by his 3 children, Karen Gosper and her husband Kevin, Janet Little and her husband James, and Dr. Anthony F. DeQuattro and his wife Susan; cherished grandchildren Katherine, Samantha, Christopher, Thomas, Andrea, and Frank; dear sister Mrs. Barbara Lambert and was brother of the late Alessandro DeQuattro.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory-SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt. 1A), Narragansett on Monday at 9:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Mary Star of the Sea, 864 Point Judith Rd., Narragansett.  Burial will be private.  VISITING HOURS are Monday morning from 9-10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration, Radnor Station Building 2, Suite 320, 290 King of Prussia Rd., Radnor, PA 19087.
