59, of Woonsocket, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence surrounded by his wife, family and close friends. He was the loving husband of Frances (Golombiewski) for 26 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John and Virginia (Petrucci) Archetto. Michael was a master electrician owning and operating Johnny’s Electric for over 40 years. He was a mentor to many upcoming electricians. Michael was active with his wife’s dance studio The Fancie Dancer; he was also active in the community helping with multiple fundraisers. Michael loved riding his motorcycle and was a Patriot Guard Rider for the RI Chapter.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his two sisters, Joyce Grenier of Moosup, CT, and Janet Archetto-Pike of Brooklyn, CT. Michael was the uncle of four nieces and one nephew; he was also the great-uncle of one great-niece and three great-nephews.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, March 11th, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Bartholomew’s Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS: Friday March 10th, from 4:00-9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hope Hospice and Pallative Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
