Robert Philip Smith

57, of Narragansett passed away on September 5, 2023.

Born in Warwick, he was a son of Robert M. and Janice (DiRienzo) Smith of Narragansett.

Robert graduated from LaSalle Academy in 1984; and received an Associate Degree from Johnson & Wales University and New England Tech.  He worked as a medical coder for Westerly Hospital.

Robert was a kind person who loved his family.  He enjoyed gardening, collecting antiques and spending time at the library.  He had a very, special heart; whenever a family member passed away he would plant perennials as a constant reminder of our loved ones.

Besides his parents, he leaves his siblings, Laurie SmithMowry of Narragansett and Dr. Andrew J. Smith of Jamestown; two nephews, Brad Smith (Courtney) and Kyle Smith (Riley); a great nephew, Quinn Smith; a great niece, Sydney Smith; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

His funeral will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory – SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt. 1A), Narragansett followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Veronica Chapel, 1035 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Warwick.
