95, of Exeter, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Shady Acres Nursing Home in West Kingston. Born December 29, 1919 the daughter of Francis Chiaverini and Chlorinda Sciappi Chiaverini.
In 1938 Ada graduated Central High School in Providence, and worked as a bookkeeper until she married. She is remembered for her loving devotion to her family, and her willingness to help anyone she could. There was nothing she loved more than being around her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Ada had two children; Louis V. Jackvony III & Linda Joanne Cortellesso. She is survived by her sister, Leonita Natale, her daughter, Linda J. Cortellesso, five grandchildren; Jared Rubin, Peter Jackvony, Lynne Melo, Amanda Cortellesso, and Armand Louis Cortellesso, and four great-grandchildren; Emily Rubin, Sarah Rubin, Gianna Melo, and Anthony Melo. She was the sister of the late Frances Connor. Ada was a member of the St. Augustine's Sodality.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Augustine's Church, Providence. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be Wednesday morning from 9 - 10 a.m.
