Adelaide A. 'Lolly' (Rossi) Masiello

88, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2015, surrounded by her loving family, at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Masiello. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Giovanni and Luigia (Cardinale) Rossi. Mrs. Masiello was an employee for Blue Cross/ Blue Shield for 8 years until her retirement.
Adelaide is survived by her loving children, Salvatore Masiello of Burrillville, John Masiello of San Ramon, CA, Louise Russo of Johnston, Adelaide Horne of Cranston and Mary Ann Lima of East Greenwich. She was the cherished grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 17; a sister of Nicholas Rossi of Cranston and the late Benedetto Rossi.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Apostle's Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. We were blessed to have a very special wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She has touched us all in a special way and now she is in heaven enjoying her reward.
She enjoyed traveling, baking and being with family and friends, but especially going to a casino.
