69, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late James Corso. Born in San Miguel, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Jose Souza and Alexandrina (Cabral) Souza. Agnes was a jewelry worker for various jewelry companies in the Providence area.
She is survived by her loving children, Alana M. Alicea and her husband Luis of Johnston, Gina A. Rizzo and her husband Micah Chavez of Warwick, Megan V. Coffey and her husband David of Cranston, James J. Corso and his wife Stephanie of Lincoln, She was the cherished grandmother of Bianca, Luis, and Cody Alicea, Alexandra Rizzo and Christian Chavez, Ava Coffey, Alessio Corso and one great-grandson Xavier J. Alicea. Agnes was the sister of Maria Parece and her husband Ernest of Rehoboth, MA, and the late Louise Hagan and Julio Souza.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her VISITING HOUR on Thursday from 10:00a.m. to 11:00 a.m.in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Funeral Service and Burial will be private.
